7/26/2023 0 Comments David revoy krita linux mintThanks for the last comments tablet I use a Wacom Intuos 3 A4 at home and bamboo fun A5 with laptop. But it’s really no issue, I hope you do more □ One thought for future might be to have the pop up title’s not quite as obstructive. Yeah very inspiring, I loved your choices of music too, everything well done. Wonderful although i like thinking what i ‘ll draw and then paint it rather than drawing a chaos. Thanks again!! Looking forward more fantastic work from Durian!!! I’ve not used Linux Mint yet but have used Fedora, Mandrake, Red Hat, CentOS, SuSE, Debian, and Ubuntu. I’m very much a Linux user and am always interested to know what type of hardware artists use. One question I have though, Did you use a tablet (Wacom or otherwise to do this), if so what did you use. I am always interested to see how artists create their work. +1 Awesome, This is great and inspirational. I love to watch other artist’s techniques and I can learn a lot from you!! Thank you for creating such an inspiring and useful video. So, may be, the “born condition” is to be enthusiastic with creative media and the desire to be a bit perfectionist to learn a part of the big set of rules. The last point is, it’s ok to know how to draw thing, but it’s better if you have the fire to love to draw/paint and want to express a part of yourself with this media. So, I digital painter build their own render engine machine, and library of volume/pattern etc… In my future Dvd I will follow his way of thinking drawing by rule set. First time to make the picture bigger than 2.5K pixel on the biggest size, second time to adjust a bit more to have all the face of the girl in my working virtual sheet at 100%, that’s all □ ( and I even do a mistake just before I do “Canvas size” instead of “scale image” )Ģ) I’m from the school that believe that drawing can even be learned to a robot just a big set of rules that need to become automatism ( from Niklas Jansson, is in my link treasure one of the best ressource from the net. I wanted to write, “Thanks with your kind comments :)” btw, I’m happy to see double post are use-full to get double Richard :ġ) My final piece is 3141×1959 pixel, I just manage this size speedy to have a good resolution to work on the girl face at 100% that’s why in Gimp during the time-lapse I resize 2 times. I wish I could paint with even a quarter of your talent.ġ) What was the full resolution of the image (as you were painting it)?Ģ) As an artist, do you think that someone with barely any artistic skill could ever create something amazing as that? Or is this something you need to be born with?Īwesome, David!!! Durian will be amazing!! Can’t wait to see whay you’re preparing there!! Good luck!Īugust 19th, 2009 at 1:08 : Hey cool, bien le bonjour : “Thanks □ with ” wrote as an answer to you on Blendernation, is a type mistake or copy/paste from Tomboy mistake □ That was absolutely amazing, David! Seeing that picture coming out of nothing but odd shaped greyscale blocks was extremely impressive. The concept for project Durian is on great hands! □ Superbe, c’est impressionnant de voir les nombreux allé-retour que tu fais entre mypaint et gimp. I wonder how much time it will take :OīTW where to find Alchemy ? Mypaint seems to have awesome results □Īnd cool to discover 2 new programs for paiting! Also, the project management and teamwork aspects would be very interesting for me. I would really like to see more of this part, since there are countless tutorials on techniques for blender and gimp, but very few about the planning and pre-production / creative process. You do know it’s going to be absolutely fantastic, don’t you? Don’t you!?! □Īwsome, especially the inside on the creative process. If you haven’t done so already then go put your money down for a copy. Proof, if it were at all needed, that Durian will something quite special. Stunning doesn’t even begin to describe the creative process at work here. Truly exciting times, cant wait to see you guys start on durian. I also liked the fact that you have used a multiple OS I`ve just watched it, and i have to say: it`s absolutely brilliant! Durian & Blend & Paint DVD : Feature request Inspiring note for (new) MyPaint developers: the program is great, but would be truly competitive with layer blending:
